Make-Up Scheduler and Absence Policy

There are no refunds for missed classes...BUT...It's SO easy to schedule a make-up class!
Step one:  Email or text (414) 213-7081 Ms. Kristen to let her know what class you're missing.  Vacations, doctors appointments - you name it, you can let Ms. Kristen know.  You can even do this when you're sick and you know you're not going to make it a day in advance.

Ms. Kristen will add your missed class to the sign-up form.

Step two:  Visit the Make-Up scheduler and sign-up for an available make-up slot.

That's IT!  The minute you let Ms. Kristen know you are going to miss a class, you may visit the scheduler and sign up for a make-up.  Please bookmark this sign-up form.  It changes almost daily.  If at first there's no classes available that work for your schedule, check it in a day or a week.
It's constantly being updated.

It breaks our hearts when you can't make it to all your classes.  If your household comes down with a nasty virus that takes you all out for several weeks, we'll work with you to try to get as many classes in as possible.  We're here to help!

Make-up/Bonus Week

During our 8-week Winter, Spring and Fall Sessions, we offer a 9th week or "Bonus Week."  This week is reserved first and foremost for the possibility that your teacher becomes ill and is unable to teach for a week - we will use that 9th week as our make-up week.  But, we also add a few additional make-up classes into the schedule that week for those families who were unable to get all their classes in.  We offer this as a courtesy to those families who just couldn't get into make-up classes that worked for their schedule.  Very often, we have extra space in these classes and even some families who do NOT have classes to make up get to participate.  It's an "on your honor system" sign-up that your teacher will tell you more about as you approach the end of your session.

When to Stay Home

Your teachers are all seasoned parents.

We will all tell you the same thing:  Go off how your child is acting.

Time and time again, we've had parents leave mid-class when they realize their "kind of off" child is actually burning up with fever by mid-morning.  Our kids can't hide it when they don't feel well.
You can always let us know you're not coming and utilize the make-up scheduler.

Per Our Policy...times when you must stay home:
If you or your child are running a fever (anything higher than normal), experiencing any vomiting or diarrhea, exhibiting new coughing or sore throat symptoms, have red/drippy eyes, or acting "off" (tired or unusually cranky), please stay at home.  Any child with a questionable rash - especially around the mouth or in fingernail/toenail beds - should stay home for observation.  Any exposure to Covid or flu followed by any degree of symptoms requires you to stay home.

If anyone in your household currently has Covid or flu, please consider wearing a mask to class or at a minimum, keeping to your own blanket.

Come on in...
Clear, runny noses or random coughs in children that are otherwise acting "normal" are probably a sign that your child is fighting a mild cold/allergies.  Come to class!   If your child is on antibiotics but is now fever free/rash free for a FULL 24 hours w/out medication, come to class! If your child was throwing up/had diarrhea but has been healthy w/out medication for a FULL 48 hours, come to class!

You are always welcome to call or text Ms. Kristen with any questions!
